New yorker: MONOPOLIS
Monopolis presents the city as both a site of opportunity and a game governed by uneven rules. The work reflects on the cost of chasing urban life, where towering structures symbolise progress but often give rise to isolation. Within this constructed landscape, loneliness becomes normalised and inequality is embedded into the system itself, determining who moves forward and who is left unseen.
